The University of Massachusetts basketball team follows up its win over VCU earlier this week with a trip this afternoon to take on Duquesne.
Tipoff is set for 3 p.m. at the Palumbo Center in Pittsburgh.
Be sure to read through my preview for the game and check out MassLive.com’s complete UMass basketball coverage right here.
If you won’t be making it out to Pennsylvania to catch the game in person, don’t worry! We’ve got you covered as you look for somewhere to follow along with the action. Let’s take a look your options:
Live blog
First off, I’d suggest giving me a follow on Twitter because I’ll be sharing commentary throughout the game that will also be part of a live blog I’ll be running right here on MassLive.com.
Television
Like several games already this season, Sunday’s matchup is being distributed by the American Sports Network.
Again, that’s not a real channel. What it means is that the game will be broadcast regionally around the country on various networks. In Massachusetts, the station to tune into is Comcast Sports Network New England (CSNNE).
If you don’t live here in MA or just want to see what other stations are carrying the game, be sure to check out this complete listing of ASN affiliates.
UMass’ Seth Berger doesn’t travel due to concussion symptoms, will miss Sunday’s game at Duquesne
Online video
If you won’t be near a television this afternoon, you can also watch the game via a lives online stream presented by the Atlantic 10 Digital Network.
It looks like the stream is free for those with IP addresses in and around Pittsburgh, but there’s no indication that that will be the case here in Massachusetts. So be ready to have to log-in and pay $4.95 (apparently the cost has been bumped up to $6.95, which seems like an awful steep price for a product that likely hasn’t gotten two dollars better) for a day pass, if necessary.
Radio
As always, fans can listen to the game on the radio with Josh Maurer and Tim Collins. Here are the local stations:
- 105.5 FM WEEI (Springfield/Amherst)
- 830 AM WCRN (Worcester)
- 95.9 FM WATD (South Shore)
- 1200 AM WXKS (Boston, Manchester, Providence)
You can also listen online via WEEI’s website or with the TuneIn Radio app for smartphones and tablets.
If worst comes to worst, you can always just follow along with the live stats on GameTracker.
