With the goal of surfacing best-in-class thought leadership on the convergence of video and television, Adweek, along with sponsor and partner NCC Media, convened a half-day Video 2020 Executive Lab late last month in New York for media buyers and planners from more than 30 agencies.
Speakers included a welcoming introduction from Andrew Capone, svp, marketing business development at NCC Media, a keynote from Keith Grossman, global chief revenue officer at Bloomberg Media and a fireside chat with Michael Wolff, an award-winning journalist, columnist and author who discussed the themes laid out in his latest book Television is the New Television.
Also featured was a discussion with Larry Stern, co-creator and executive producer of E!’s breakout reality series hit Hollywood Medium and a presentation of an exclusive data set on primary data and video as targeting vehicles from NCC Media presented by Jim Loughran, svp, digital sales, NCC Media and brand marketing veteran Louis Giagrande.
The day concluded with a video related media challenge for the attendees and a cocktail reception with Vanderpump Rules star Jax Taylor on the roof of the Dream Hotel Downtown, where the Executive Lab took place.
