NEW YORK–(BUSINESS WIRE)–Eyeview,
the industry leader in outcome-based video marketing, today announced
the addition of veteran digital executive, Jeff Fagel, to the management
team as the company’s Chief Marketing Officer (CMO). Fagel will lead
Eyeview’s brand marketing strategy with a focus on growing the marketing
team, deepening customer relationships and continuing to strengthen its
leadership position in the outcome-based video marketing space.
“I’m excited to add a marketing leader with deep digital, retail, brand
and customer experience to define, build and lead a new video
advertising category around outcome-based video marketing,” said Oren
Harnevo, CEO and co-founder of Eyeview. “Today’s marketers must prove a
measured return in sales on every dollar they spend and Jeff understands
this, as he has spent time as a brand side marketing leader and is a
seasoned marketing technology CMO who has worked directly with brands to
navigate the competitive landscape and scale their businesses.”
“For me, what is most exciting is that Eyeview has proven that video can
do more than branding, driving significant incremental offline sales for
clients across retail, CPG, auto and travel segments,” said Fagel. “The
future of marketing is about business outcomes, not media outputs.
Eyeview is delivering on the long-awaited promise of marrying the
engagement and appeal of television quality video advertising with data
and targeting capabilities in order to drive sales. Results speak
louder. Period.”
Fagel most recently was the CMO at Cofactor, a division of Tegna,
formerly Gannett (Cars.com, Careerbuilder, etc). Prior to that role,
Jeff led marketing at edo Interactive, a venture-backed startup within
the emerging payments space.
Fagel has extensive brand marketing, consumer packaged goods, and retail
experience. He was responsible for strategic leadership across the Kmart
brand and its private-label portfolio with a focus on customer, digital
and social media strategy. An innovator in multi-channel brand
development, prior to Sears Holdings, Fagel held multiple marketing
leadership roles at PepsiCo and ConAgra.
Fagel is a frequent industry speaker and published contributor across
influential marketing, digital, mobile and technology press including
Fast Company, Ad Age, TechCrunch, Venture Beat, Huffington Post, Content
Marketing Institute, and Entrepreneur.
With a 90 percent renewal rate and expansion among existing Fortune 1000
accounts such as PG, Walgreens, Honda and Priceline, Eyeview has
tripled its revenue since 2014, while growing its employee base by 20
percent.
Fagel will divide his time between the Eyeview New York and Chicago
offices; his appointment is effective immediately.
