Mumbai-based media company 120 Media Collective announced this week that it has entered into a one-year partnership with South Korean marketing firm Cheil Worldwide for the creation of original video content.
Founded by filmmaker and entrepreneur Roopak Saluja, 120 Media Collective is a production and digital marketing agency specializing in the creation of branded and sponsored video content. Launched in 2006 as Bang Bang Films, a traditional production studio, the company re-branded as 120 Media in 2009 and began pivoting into digital video. Earlier this year, the company launched two new divisions focused exclusicely on digital content creation, dranded content wing Sniper and digital video creator network Sooperfly, both of which will play a central role in the partnership with Cheil.

Cheil Worldwide is an independent marketing agency based in Seoul, South Korea. Originally an internal marketing group operating within Samsung, Cheil was spun off as an independent agency under the Samsung umbrella in the late 1980s.
120 Media Collective will put its video content creation services at the disposal of Cheil and the ad firm’s international roster of client to create new original content. This content will consist of both commercials and other branded video, as well as original series for distribution.
