UMass basketball vs. Fordham TV broadcast, online video: Where to watch the Minutemen Saturday

The University of Massachusetts basketball team returns home after yet another tough loss on Wednesday. The Minutemen are increasingly desperate for a win and Fordham is next up on the list of would-be, could-be opponents to potentially end the team’s ongoing losing streak.

Tipoff is set for 12 p.m. at the Mullins Center in Amherst.

Be sure to read through my preview for the game and check out MassLive.com’s complete UMass basketball coverage right here.

If you won’t be making it onto campus to catch the game in person, don’t worry! We’ve got you covered as you look for somewhere to follow along with the action. Let’s take a look your options:

Live blog

First off, I’d suggest giving me a follow on Twitter because I’ll be sharing commentary throughout the game that will also be part of a live blog I’ll be running right here on MassLive.com.

Television

Ready your living rooms, because Saturday’s game will be broadcast nationally on NBCSN. That’s great for UMass fans and maybe a little confusing for others around the country scanning their college basketball options for lunch time today.

If you’re not sure where to find NBCSN, punch your zip code into this handy channel finder.

Online video

Along with the NBCSN broadcast comes and online component via NBC Live Extra.

The live stream is free to watch, but requires that you log in with your cable provider information, so make sure you have that handy. If you’ll be on the go, check out the selection on NBC mobile apps for your smartphone or tablet.

Radio

As always, fans can listen to the game on the radio with Josh Maurer and Tim Collins. Here are the local stations:

  • 105.5 FM WEEI (Springfield/Amherst)
  • 830 AM WCRN (Worcester)
  • 95.9 FM WATD (South Shore)
  • 1200 AM WXKS (Boston, Manchester, Providence)

You can also listen online via WEEI’s website or with the TuneIn Radio app for smartphones and tablets.

If worst comes to worst, you can always just follow along with the live stats on GameTracker.
