CES, currently under way in Las Vegas, Nevada, isn’t just about the shiny tech toys coming out in 2016—it’s also about marketing those shiny tech toys. But how can marketers break through when there are so many other brand videos trying to reach an audience?
To find out, we spoke to the experts at Amobee Brand Intelligence. Amobee is a marketing technology company that analyzes digital engagement.
“Amobee Brand Intelligence data shows a couple of things: first, consumer-facing drones are only growing in popularity, with the Parrot Disco clearly hovering above the competition in terms of standing out at CES 2016,” says Jonathan Cohen, principal brand analyst at Amobee.
“There are literally thousands of different brands and products vying for attention; making it extremely difficult to stand out from the crowd without curation. For brands, being able to identify the biggest influencers on a particular platform—for example, LinusTechTips on YouTube—will give them an advantage over competitors in making sure they’re targeting the messengers most likely to reach a qualified audience. Brands that amplified their message with paid media had an advantage during CES, as well,” Cohen says.
